Opportunities in Swale...

There are a number of clubs and organisations providing opportunities in Swale -

Remember to contact the club/organisation before you attend to ask any questions you have on their activities.

Background to Hockey...

Hockey or 'Field Hockey' is a team sport that is now usually played on artificial pitches and has different versions to help encourage all age groups to take part. A ball is passed between players using a Hockey Stick with the aim to get it into a goal to score.

There are several pitches across Swale that clubs and organisations train and play on, with both leagues and cup matches against teams locally and in the South East depending on the league they are in.

The National Governing Body of the sport has more information on Hockey so take a look at the England Hockey website for more information.

COVID-19

All activities offered by clubs overseen by a National Governing Body will be required to adhere to new procedures to protect participants. England Hockey is working with Sport England to support providers to get back to activities.
