Steeped in history this 13th Century Hall House has been totally refurbished by the family White. It retains many distinctive character features including exposed beams, flagstone floors and crown post ceiling and an inviting log fire. Clever contemporary features now lend this remarkable building a comfortable atmosphere, which cannot fail to charm. Outside further delights await.

Its a quintessentially English pub set in the picturesque Kentish Hamlet of Hernhill located just a few miles from the historic towns Faversham and Whitstable and The City of Canterbury.

Opening Times

We will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays, and our new opening times are Wednesday - Friday 1-8 Saturday 1-10 and Sunday 1-7. We will be offering a reduced food and drinks menu. It won’t be as you know it but you’ll still find our warm and friendly staff, ready to welcome you back. Bookings are essential.
