St Bartholomew's Church Bobbing

Heritage and Gardens

This tiny Church has survived earth tremors! In 1837, the outside porch was rebuilt due to severe damage but everything else stayed standing.

St Bartholomew's is a Norman Church that stands on a knoll above Goodnestone Court and is a half-timbered building from the 15th Century.

Inside,  you can see a miniature 19th-century font, Willement glass in the east window, two 16th century brass inscriptions who both departed 'in the fayth of Christe' and a Medieval tomb which may have been used as an Easter Sepulchure.

Donations welcome.

Bobbing Church holds family centred services every week at 11am.

Services last approximately 1 hour and feature contemporary worship, teaching and a zoom session after the service (don't forget your tea or coffee).

We normally would hold a communion service on 3rd Sunday of the month but this is constantly under review due to the current govenment and Church of England guidelines.

We are part of the Holy Trinity with Bobbing Parish and linked with the Saints in Sittingbourne as part of the Sittingbourne Team Ministry.

Our values are Love God, Love each other and Love the World.
