Queenborough Guildhall Museum tells the story of this historic town. From Saxon settlement to wealthy Borough and Royal Castle built by Edward III. Queenborough is full of Victorian industrial heritage.
The town was home to hundreds of minesweeping vessels during the Second World War.
The museum is located in the Historic Guildhall building and spread over two rooms. A visit will include a short talk and access to the Council Chamber. There are many artefacts, photographs and displays to see, so one visit may not be enough.
