The Village Hall was founded by the local people of Iwade and was brought about by their individual and joint efforts together with the kind donation of most of the land. A more detailed history can be seen by clicking here.
The Hall is now a self sufficient registered charity. Its sole source of income to meet the day to day running costs comes from the hiring of the Hall. There are not any shareholders; it belongs to you, the residents of Iwade. It is run by an elected committee, on an entirely voluntary basis, all of whom come from within the Iwade area.
The Hall and all its facilities are here for the people of Iwade, together with its many activities, which we hope you will use and support.
