Faversham Folk Club

Food & Drink

Live and accoustic are the watchwords for this weekly gathering. We are a listening club and welcome newcomers - both soloists and bands - but especially those just starting and building on their confidence. These are particularly welcome on 'Singers' Nights', similar to an 'open mik' session. We cherish a hard core of regular singers and players, but you can never have too many.

Every second week or so we feature a professional guest, usually of national acclaim, and who would be paid for out of our fairly healthy kitty.

We are broad in our tastes, we'll hear blues, country, traditional music from any place, music hall, jazz, fusions of all sorts, politics, satire, philosophy, religion, gospel, tunes from instruments of all kinds, dancing...

There's a Raffle each week, plus a little competition for paid-up members, if they happen to be present on the night. You could win some dosh. A good downstairs bar available and meals can be had in the early evening.

See you at The Limes, Faversham, on any Wednesday evening - and there's a downstairs session on a Thursday, same place.
