After 25 years of providing Bed and Breakfast at Sandhurst Farm Forge we have decided to offer our accommodation as a “Self-catering Unit” Ideal for a peaceful “Couple Get away”..

A naturally socially distanced centrally heated ground floor Stable block which over time has undergone many changes. In 2017 it was completely re–roofed, followed by new boiler and water system. We have now re configured the internal arrangements to offer one comfortable unit comprising of one double bedroom with King Sized Bed dressing table and large wardrobe .A spacious bathroom with underfloor heating and heated towel rail, a large independent shower with overhead, and handheld spray, as well as a large bath, The Lounge in the centre of the stable block offers a seating for TV/DVD viewing, and then leads into a fully fitted kitchen with double oven /grill, fridge, small freezer, microwave and washing machine. A large pine Dining table to make this a home from home.

There is free WiFi through out the property, and USB sockets in both the bedroom and the lounge. A variety of books ,board games  and jigsaws are there for you to use.

All bedding, towels and toiletries are provided, along with welcome breakfast pack, teas and coffees.

The stable block undergoes a deep clean in between each set of guests, and there are contactless sanitisers on the wall outside your entrance door, for you to use on both entrance and exit, ensuring your safety at all times.

We live on the premises, and also run a gallery and Forge, offering taster sessions, but due to the amount of outside space ,social distancing is not a problem.

Situated between the villages of Newnham and Doddington, we are an ideal base from which to sample the delights of the Mid Kent Downs, an “Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty”. Peaceful and quiet after a hard-working day but only15 mins from Junct 6 of the M2 & 20 mins, from Junction 8 of the M20. Walk our many footpaths. View an abundance of local wildlife, orchards, and woodland chestnut coppice.

Cycle our lanes or visit our medieval market town of Faversham with its Creek side history and many attractions.
A town with small independent shops, Faversham is the home of Creek Creative, a thriving artistic hub, art gallery and amazing café offering a gluten and dairy free menu . Faversham hosts a variety of markets with a mix of local food produce, crafts, and antiques. Easily accessed from London via car or train. We are only one hour from London, Folkestone and the Channel Tunnel, the North Kent Coast, Whitstable, Margate and the Turner Contemporary, 30 minutes from Canterbury.

If you are cycling, we do have secure lock up for bikes.
